Citywide Plumbing and Heating was established in 2019 with the merger of two plumbing companies: Walker Mechanical of Wakefield, MA and Edwards Plumbing of North Reading, MA.

Shawn and Edward first met in 1987 when they both worked for the same plumbing and mechanical contractor. Shawn became a licensed plumber in 1988 and opened Walker Mechanical in 1991. Edward became a licensed plumber in 1991 and opened Edwards Plumbing Company the same year.

After starting their own businesses, they pursued uniquely different paths in the plumbing and heating industry. Shawn is an accomplished plumber with experience in residential and commercial housing. Edward specializes in commercial buildings and health care facilities.
